Getting Started on the 2020 Gardening Season

Last weekend I spent some time helping my children clean-up and re-organize their rooms. We gathered together 6 boxes of toys and games they no longer play with and will be donating them to a local center to hand out to low income families. I went through all of their clothing that they have out-grown and bagged up 3 large bags of clothes. We’ll be dropping that off at Good Will.

Each child was then able to select something new for their room. My son picked a new area rug that is a road map that he can play on using all of his cars and trucks. It’s done in a construction site and small town theme. My daughter selected a new comforter for her bed. That was a major spring cleaning project that got completed.

How often do you do a major clean-up through your bedroom or your child(s) bedroom?

That is wonderful that your children cleaned-up and re-organized their rooms. I am trying to do that in my home and would like to donate as soon as possible.

I don’t clean up like you did. I should and I have the time right now. I would rather sew.

I have enjoyed the recipes this week. I am not cleaning as much as I would like to do. The posts this week might just spur me on to get more done.

You know it is so strange that you asked about cleaning and reorganizing bedrooms in todays post. I have been putting this off now for a couple of weeks. I have got to get cracking on my bedroom it is starting to make me a little cray. I need to go through clothes and donate the ones that I don’t wear anymore. I also need to go through my nightstand drawers and throw some old junk out. I need to stop putting it off and get busy. Hope you have a nice weekend.
