My friend Brian is an excellent cook. Every week I enjoy perusing his Facebook feed to see what kind of delicious things he has whipped up. One of the thing I really like is that the dishes that he makes are simple to prepare and don’t take all day in the kitchen. A few weeks ago he posted his Rosemary Garlic Steaks Recipe and I had to share it with all of you. Thanks Brian!
Brian’s Rosemary Garlic Steaks Recipe
2 Beef Steaks
Avocado Oil
5 Cloves garlic, crushed
Butter, melted
Rosemary
In a cast iron skillet sear both sides of the steak in Avocado Oil. Brian states that Avocado Oil is the best to use for this recipe as it “burns” easily.
Crush the garlic, melt the butter and add Rosemary to it. Set 1/4 of basting mixture aside. Use 3/4 of the mixture as your marinade. Let steaks sit in marinade (refrigerated) for at least 30 minutes. Remove.
Place steaks in a boiler pan. Pour the marinade over-the-top.
Baste the steaks in crushed garlic, melted butter and Rosemary. Bake in oven on the broiler setting for 5-10 minutes or until steaks are done to your personal preference. Halfway through the baking time you’ll want to baste them with the remaining 1/4 of marinade. Once done, serve immediately.

I’ve never used avocado oil but it looks like it does a good job, based on that photo. That looks delicious.
I have never cooked with avocado oil but friends tell me it is a good choice for many recipes. These garlic steaks look delicious and I also appreciate the simplicity of the recipe.
