Ripley’s Nitro Circus Best of Scooter and BMX Books

My 13 year old nephew enjoys skate boarding, riding his scooter, street bike and roller blading. These activities are really popular with boys age 12-18 in our area. He will spend hours participating in these activities and enjoys reading about them too.

Two weeks ago I received these two books published by Ripley’s Believe It or Not and gave them to my nephew. Within 1 minute he was flipping through the pages and reading the books. Matter of fact, he sat in my over-sized beanbag chair for 90 minutes reading the two books and was totally enthralled with them.

Each soft-cover book is the size of a standard magazine, contain 64 pages and are jam-packed with beautiful color photographs. He’s learning all about some of the most-famous professional BMX bike riders & scooter riders along with tricks and feats that they’ve completed. I think they’re great books for older kids, teenagers, and adults who are interested in these type’s of sports and activities. You can check out some additional Ripley’s Believe It or Not Books right here on our blog.

I do like the books by Ripley’s Believe It or Not and I have some of those for kids who are 3-5 years old. I am sure they would appreciate these books when they are older.

  2. It’s always good to find books that tell about things kids are interested in. These look like fun books.
