Romeo just celebrated his 7 month old birthday and received a few new cat toys to mark the occasion. He’s still in his playful kitten stage and enjoys having a wide variety of cat toys to entertain him. As his pet parents, we try to give him toys that stimulate his mind and provide him with much needed exercise. It’s important to keep our fur babies happy and healthy.

Three weeks ago we purchase Romeo the Cat Krazy Motorized Wand which is similar to models you may have seen on TV. It’s just as nice but as an “off brand” it’s a lot more affordable. It includes: Cat toy, durable yellow skirt and the mouse wand. You need to provide the 3 C batteries which aren’t included.
Assembly is extremely easy, no tools required. You simply attach the mouse wand, add the durable yellow cover, the batteries and then press the button for hours of playful fun. That’s it! It’s made for cats of all ages and can be used indoors or outdoors. It’s light-weight and portable for those of you who travel with your pets.
We hold 2-3 play sessions a day with our little guy. We call them stimulation enrichment sessions and find that they’re best held around brunch time and then later on in the afternoon between 2-3 PM. We space them out because do indeed like to “nap” several times during the day. We try to not over stimulate him before bedtime at night.
To make the toy work…you or your cat (once trained) will simply press on the button on the center disk. The mouse wand will spin around underneath the yellow skirt with the red tail hanging out. Your kitty will go CRAZY jumping all over it trying to catch it. If they stand on it…it will stop in place until they move off of it. It will then spin around again. Our guy still has his claws (we don’t believe in declawing) and he has NOT punctured the yellow skirt at all. It’s well-made.
We rotate his toys on a weekly basis to keep things interesting for him. He really LOVES the CAT KRAZY Motorized Wand and would probably play with it numerous times every day if we left him. It’s an affordable toy and gives our feline friends some much needed exercise when they chase it around. Plus, it teaches them some great eye-to-paw coordination too!
Cat toys like this Motorized Mouse Wand are really stimulating for our furry friends. You can find several different companies that make them and if you want a great price on one…I recommend that you check out Amazon.

I think that my son’s cats would love this new toy. I don’t know how long it would last in his house because one of the cats loves to chew everything!.
