Goodies for Dogs from The Pet Gourmet
My dogs, Otis and Nick, are happy little guys these days, thanks to The Pet Gourmet. They’ve been enjoying Beef Jerky with Apples as yummy treats and Freeze Dried Lamb Liver both as a treat and as an enhancement to their meals, and their wagging tails tell me how much they love their Pet Gourmet goodies.

The first time I opened the package of Freeze Dried Lamb Liver, I had that feeling of being watched, and sure enough, both dogs had appeared out of nowhere and were staring at me, trying to hypnotize me into dropping some directly into their mouths. Although they love it straight from the bag, they love it even more when I rehydrate it and use it as a meal topper.
Lacking any directions as to how much constitutes one serving or how much water to use for rehydrating it, I’ve been steeping about 1/8 cup of the Freeze Dried Lamb Liver in an equal of water, then dividing it between the two dogs’ dishes as a nutritious meal topper that they go crazy for. Otis can’t even wait for me to put his dish on the floor before he tries to dive in!
In addition to the Lamb Liver, The Pet Gourmet also offers freeze dried proteins in flavors to please any pooch’s palate, including chicken, beef, and salmon. Each is made from a single ingredient, so you know it’s good, healthy pet food.
For my precious dogs, I prefer treats that provide good nutrition, made with real ingredients, like The Pet Gourmet’s jerky. The Beef Jerky with Apples was a huge hit with Nick and Otis! These grain-free bite-sized treats have beef as their number one ingredient, with apples, flaxseed, chickpeas, and other wholesome ingredients rounding out the recipe. Other varieties include Salmon Jerky with Flaxseed, Chicken Jerky with Sweet Potato, and Turkey Jerky with Bacon, and I have a feeling that Otis and Nick would happily indulge in any of them.
