American-Made Handmade Cloth Face Masks

One of my friends owns and operates an online Etsy store called FurMomma Creations. A few weeks ago I featured several of her handmade cat toys on the blog. You can check out our review to learn more about them.

Many of us live in a part of the country that requires face masks and/or cloth face coverings when we go outside. Here in the northeast we’re required to wear them for the next several months. We own medical-grade face masks that we wear when we go into extremely “germ-filled” places like the doctor’s office, medical clinics, etc. We wear the cloth face masks when going to the grocery store and while running other errands that need to be done.

All of our cloth face masks were purchased from FurMomma Creations. In the past few months we’ve ordered and received over 25+ face masks for our personal use, for family members and for several friends. Everyone loves them!

They’re extremely well-made and come in some adorable prints and patterns. You can find some really fun and unique designs in her Etsy store. These masks are reusable…over and over again. I wash mine after each use by placing them in a zipper-closure mesh lingerie bag and tossing them into my washing machine. Once done…I hang them up to air dry. I don’t toss them into my dryer as heat can break-down the elastic and I want mine to last.

She makes adults and children’s sizes. The top 3 in my photograph are for adults and the bottom 3 are for children. I really like how they fit my face and the elastic doesn’t tug on my ears. Let’s face it…we need our masks to fit snuggly but yet they have to be comfortable. These are both! You can get them lined on the inside with soft fleece if you prefer that.
