In the front of the book you’ll find sections on how to choose paper for your projects, how to fold and different folding techniques. Everything is laid out in a way so that beginners can understand it and get started right away.

The project includes instructions for 8 different projects: Tray for Treats, Wedding Favor Box, Flat Box, Arlington Box, Ancient Japanese Box, Classic Box, Fortune Purse and Arianna’s Box. Each project includes step-by-step instructions, folding diagrams and color photographs.

In the back of the book you’ll find 200 sheets of origami paper in 20 different patterns and colors. There are solids and prints to choose from. With the prints you’ll find florals, hearts, swirls, circles, squares, leaves, dots, etc. The solid colors include a ton of different colors that all coordinate back to the printed sheets so that you can do a coordinating look. Each square shaped double-sided piece of origami paper measures 7″ by 7″ in size.

My husbands enjoys sitting down and working on origami projects. It’s a great hobby for those who want relax and de-stress after a long day at work. I often find him working on projects while watching a movie on TV. A lot of men don’t enjoy arts and crafts, but he does!

Most of us have been cooped up indoors for the past few weeks. Having this book and the included paper on-hand has helped hubby pass the time. All of the projects are fairly easy-to-make and great for beginners. The selection of paper that is included is nice quality too! I think you’ll be very pleased with the Origami Boxes book!
