How to Make Your Hair Healthy With 4 Easy Changes

April 19, 2020 by Sam H.

How to Make Your Hair Healthy With 4 Easy ChangesIs your hair splitting, dry, and lacking the shine that it used to have? Whose hair isn’t?

With today’s blow-out bar trend and extreme coloring, it’s not a matter of if your hair is damaged but how damaged is your hair. Having beautiful, healthy hair doesn’t have to be difficult. It just takes a little persistence.

Here is how to make your hair healthy with four easy changes and the best part is you can start today!

1. Get Regular Trims

Ensuring that your hair is trimmed regularly is a good way to help keep your hair healthy. Professionals recommend a hair trim every 6 to 12 weeks for your hair to stay in optimal condition.

The longer your hair is, the more fragile your old hair becomes. Longer hair is typically susceptible to breakage, split ends, and thinning. A good trim takes off the damaged hair before it has time to move up the hair shaft from the ends and cause more damage.

2. Maintain a Good Diet

One of the most effective and easiest ways to maintain healthy hair is by keeping a good diet. You are already going to eat anyway so might as well eat for healthy hair. Adding protein and vitamin-rich foods to your diet can help your hair grow faster and be healthy.

Eggs are full of protein and biotin, both of which are amazing for your hair. Eat berries to protect your hair follicles against free radicals. Berries are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. The body uses vitamin C to produce collagen. Collagen strengthens hair and can help prevent it from splitting and breaking.

If you are unable to eat enough vitamins or protein in your diet alone vitamin supplements may be a good solution. Read hair vitamin reviews and find a vitamin that is recommended to keep your hair healthy.

3. How to Make Your Hair Healthy With Hair Oils

Now that you are eating a healthy diet its time to think about what you put on your hair too. But how to keep your hair healthy without using chemicals on your hair? The answer is hair oils. Hair oils are all-natural and help nourish your hair.

Coconut and Aragon oil are excellent choices for damaged hair and can keep your hair in great condition. Use them as a mask for a once-a-week deep condition or apply a light amount to help get rid of daily frizz at the ends of your hair.

4. Double Down on Heat Protection

If you are still wondering how to make your hair healthier double up on heat protection.

Apply heat-protecting spray by grabbing small sections and spraying up and down the hair. Every part of the hair must be sprayed for the hair to be protected. Run a comb through your hair after you spray it down to distribute the product.

Keeping Your Hair Healthy is Easy

It doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming. These four easy changes tell you how to keep your hair healthy with minimum effort.

These are all good tips. I did not know about the heat protection sprays. I do trim , use argan oil and watch my diet.

Good information some I do and some I don’t. But even without a trim the last 6 weeks my hair is better. Have not been using dryer or curling iron
