Romeo just turned 6 months old and is an important member of our family. I admit, our little boy is 100% spoiled. For this review feature Romeo received the Cat Water Fountain from Amazingly Cat. I first want to state that our little boy is used to drinking out of water fountains. A few months ago when we adopted him it took him 3-4 days to adjust to having a running water fountain. Some cats take a few days to adjust and others will take to it immediately.
The Cat Water Fountain comes with the following: Pet Fountain Base, Charcoal Filter, Submersible Pump, AC Power Adapter and instruction manual. It’s really easy to assemble and took 1 minute to read instructions and another 2 minutes to assemble.
A running water fountain encourages cats to drink more. This helps to keep dehydration at-bay and keeps them well hydrated to help ward off kidney issues. The carbon activated filter prevents any toxic bacteria from entering your cat’s water. You can buy extra filters when you need them from Amazingly Cat.
One of the things that I personally love about it is that it’s virtually silent. You slightly hear the running of the water (which I find relaxing) but nothing else. Second…there is a little see-thru window on the base (see it on the right side of my photo) so you can see the level of the water inside it. You will be able to see when you need to refill it. Finally, I light that it stands up off of the floor which makes it much more comfortable for Romeo to drink. He doesn’t have to crouch down & bend his neck to get a drink!

I am so happy that Romeo received the Cat Water Fountain! He seems like a sweet kitty. I do know it is important for cats to drink often. We do encourage our kitty, but this fountain seems terrific.
I need to get this for my senior cat who needs to drink more water because he is prone to urinary infections. He will drink from the sink but rarely from his bowl. This might provide encouragement for him.
Getting enough water is so important for cats. Ours have always liked dripping water. I trieda Petmate years ago and that thing was loud they never did take to it. It was also huge. I like how this one is smaller and quieter with something like this they would enjoy it.
I have never had a drinking fountain for pets. This one is super cute and I love that it is really quiet. I also love that it has a window so you can check the water level. I think our cats would love this!
I have had a PetMate drinking fountain for my cats for years well, not the same one I replace them often. I clean my fountain often too but all of the sudden my little female cat decided that she wants her water in a bowl so now she has both. I figure anything that promotes more water drinking is fine with me as I like her to stay hydrated and healthy. I would love to try this fountain as the water comes out differently than the one that we have and I am thinking she would like the change.
