Cranberry Gelatin Fruit Salad Recipe

Cranberry Gelatin Fruit Salad RecipeI love cranberries and will enjoy them all year long. They make the perfect dessert to holiday and everyday meals. Heck, I will even enjoy it as an afternoon snack as I prefer snacking on things like this instead of pretzels & potato chips. It’s very easy-to-make and everyone in our family loves it.

A few weeks ago when I was staying at my daughter Shelly’s house for a week I whipped up a batch of my homemade cranberry gelatin fruit salad. She asked me to share the recipe with all of you on the TwoClassyChics blog. This is a fruit salad that even the kids will eat.

Cranberry Gelatin Fruit Salad Recipe

2 – 3 oz. pkgs. cherry sugar-free gelatin mix
2 cups boiling water
16 oz. can jellied cranberry sauce
20 oz. can fruit cocktail
* optional – frozen whipped topping

Mix together the gelatin mix and boiling water in a large bowl until the gelatin mix is dissolved. Stir in the can of jellied cranberry sauce and then stir in the can of fruit cocktail until all ingredients are well combined together.

Pour mixture into a glass serving dish or glass baking dish. Cover. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then place it into the refrigerator. Chill for 3 to 5 hours or until the gelatin has set. You can serve it alone or with a dollop of frozen whipped topping on the top. Delicious!
