In this new normal that the world is experiencing due to the coronavirus, our lives and routines have definitely changed. I’m working remotely each day and find myself very comfortable in yoga pants, washing my hair every other day and wearing very little makeup. I have been using CHI’s Aloe Vera with Agave Nectar Shampoo and Conditioner on those “hair washing” days (which are usually videoconference days) and I love how it moisturizes my hair and keeps the frizz at bay.
CHI has a new collection of haircare products—CHI’s Aloe Vera with Agave Nectar—that are made specifically for curly hair. The products in this seven-piece collection feature a special blend of Aloe Vera and Agave Nectar paired with a Super Hydration blend and a low pH. This will moisturize, protect and care for curls while helping to define, create and maintain the natural curl pattern of each strand of hair. What I really love about it is how soft and bouncy my hair is. The formula locks in moisture to guard against humidity and provide easier maintenance of curly hair. My natural waves are showing up big time on all of those videoconferences that I’m doing from my home offices these days.
The star of this show though is the Aloe Vera, which contains an abundance of essential nutrients and vitamins, which offer excellent conditioning properties and protection to your hair. Utilizing the benefits of amino acids to improve elasticity and strength, this natural humectant retains hair moisture, locking it in to reveal smoothness and reduced frizz.
Agave Nectar helps to prevent future damage and brittleness and fortifies weak hair strands resulting in tamed hair with lustrous, shiny results. The line’s formula is completed with the addition of Silk and a Super Hydration Blend, a unique mix of specially selected amino acids and vitamins that provide easier maintenance of curly locks.
As I mentioned above, there are seven products in this line. I tried out two of them—the CHI Aloe Vera Curl Enhancing Shampoo and the Detangling Conditioner.
CHI Aloe Vera Curl Enhancing Shampoo – This gentle lathering shampoo delicately cleanses hair of impurities without stripping hair of natural oils. It provides moisture to help soothe and nourish your scalp while increasing elasticity and enhancing curl definition. It also smells wonderful, which is definitely a plus in my book!
CHI Aloe Vera Detangling Conditioner – This is a great detangling conditioner that helps lock in moisture for thirsty-tresses. It makes my hair feel so soft and manageable. It makes my hair feel happy and healthy.

I’ll tell my friend about these. My hair is perfectly straight and doesn’t tangle. My friend’s curly hair could use this.
I have not tried any of their hair care products. This one caught my eye because I am all about detanglers. I have heard good things about CHI and I sure would like to try these and I like that price too thanks for sharing.
