Beautiful Old Buildings in Downtown Boston
How many of you have ever visited Boston? It’s an old city that is rich in history. Twice a year we fly into Boston for business and are always impressed with the old architecture and buildings that we see. Every time we’re there…we’re only there for a quick weekend and then we’re gone. Next year we’re going to stay for an entire week and explore the city.
Like all big urban cities Boston is crawling with activities that you can do 24 hours a day. It’s one of the cities that never sleeps. There are tons of music concerts, theater shows, art events, cultural events, business expos, etc. to keep people busy. If you plan on attending a big event…I do recommend that you plan well in advance and purchase admission tickets early. Things tend to sell out and it will save you time when visiting the city.
We ordered an Uber and headed into the city for a business meeting. Along the way we checked out some of the old stone churches, tall skyscrapers, the Pops building, Kings Entertainment Complex, old colleges, restaurants & pubs, etc. We saw a lot of construction going on so many of them are being updated and renovated while we were there.
Today we wanted to show you a few photographs from our quick weekend trip up to Boston. It gives you just a little peak of some of the buildings you’ll see in the downtown area. Plus, we’ve included a photograph (aerial view) that we took out of the window right before landing. They have one of the busiest airports in the northeast!
