If you’ve been reading this blog for the past 10 years you’ll already know that my family loves visiting the south Jersey Shore. Every year my husband and I go down to the beach in North Wildwood 3-5 times a year. We’re hoping to buy property there when he retires within the next few years. It’s a gorgeous place to visit!
Wildwood is a barrier island down in southern New Jersey. It sits just north of Cape May and south of Atlantic City. The island is made up of various little coastal towns such as North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and Diamond Beach. Our favorite part of the island is North Wildwood, the area that surrounds the historic Hereford Inlet Lighthouse.
Back in Fall 2019 we went down for a week and stayed with one of my very dear friends who owns a hotel in North Wildwood. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay with gorgeous oceanfront views you’ll want to check out the Aloha Oceanfront Motel. It’s a modern hotel with luxurious & comfortable accommodations. Both of the photographs that I’m sharing with you today were taken while I was standing on the sundeck at the Aloha. The first photograph shows the gorgeous sunset out over the back bay area that we saw on night one. The second photograph shows you the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean on day two. Gorgeous and beautiful. You can’t get better views!
