We enjoy visiting Washington D.C. every year to see all of the tourist attractions and historical monuments. We try to go when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. This year though…we won’t be doing any traveling until its safe to do so.
If you’ve never visited DC you really are missing out. It’s the type of place that you should visit at least once in your lifetime. You can check out the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the White House and all sorts of historical attractions.
Washington DC has a vibrant art scene and some of the best museums that our country has to offer. If gourmet food is your thing…you’ll find plenty of that there too! There’s always something new to see and do!
This year we’re postponing our spring trip but wanted to show you a few photographs from our trip last year. As you can see..the Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom and it was a stunning to see! We highly recommend visiting during the month of March so that you can see them too! Plus, you’ll avoid their heaviest tourist season which runs during the summertime months.
I love the cherry blossoms in Washington DC, and there are a lot of other attractions too.
Only been to D.C. once and must have missed this. Can’t wait for for the chance to go back there and see this.
There is a cherry blossom festival in Spokane WA that we enjoy visiting. Hopefully something we can do next year.
I’ve been to Washington D.C. twice, both times in the fall. I would love to visit again, especially when the cherry blossoms are out. They’re so pretty & it would be lovely to see! We love it there!
Cherry blossoms are so pretty. We have some dogwoods blooming here that I really like, too. Hopefully, they last a while. My grandma used to say, ‘I hope they don’t get bit.’ Lol, I hate when they bloom, then it gets really cold again and you wake up to see all the blooms on the ground.

I was lucky to be sent to DC for work for about 6 months. Did get to see the cherry blossoms that year. And I got to many of the museums.
Years ago we made a trip to DC and we got to see the Cherry Blossoms. They were the most beautiful thing I had ever saw. Did the monument tour also
