I enjoy decorating the front of my refrigerator with different items to represent the current season or holiday. In addition, I like to display a lot of my grandchildren’s artwork on the front of the refrigerator too! This is why I share a lot of handcrafted refrigerator magnet craft projects on the blog!

The BEST Magnets for Your Craft Projects

When making your projects its important that you use very strong magnets. Why? It needs to be strong enough to hold up your decor and the paper or photo that you place underneath it. I find that a lot of the ones that I buy at our local craft store aren’t strong enough and then will often slide down the front of the refrigerator or fall off when the door is opened or shut. What a total pain in the butt!

A few months ago I discovered this set of 120 Extra-Strong Magnets in a Storage Case over on Amazon and purchased them. They are fantastic! Matter of fact…the best ones that I’ve ever used! They’re the perfect small size to use with your projects and super-strong. You even get a few self-adhesive sticky pads in your set…although I use hot glue or E6000 adhesive to attach them onto the back of my projects.

Another bonus is that all 120 pieces (magnets) come in this little metal storage case which keeps them neatly organized. You don’t need a lot of storage space in your craft room and they will neatly tuck into a drawer or place them up on a shelf. Once empty, you can use that metal storage case to store little beads, sewing needles, bobbins and other small craft or sewing items. Yeah!

You get 120 pieces in this one set which will last you a long time! Even if you’re not a crafter you can easily turn small items around your house into cool refrigerator magnets! Here’s some examples of items you can use: metal bottle caps, metal bottle opener, small flat-back Christmas tree ornaments, small seashells, old brooches & coat pins, large pendants from your necklaces, cool looking smooth river stones, etc.

These sound like great magnets to possess. They would be very useful and I like the container.

  2. This is great. I love the case. The strength of the magnet is really important.

That looks like a pretty neat set. I definitely like the carrying case. A metal case would be nice for keeping them from scattering if you drop them, lol.

I never throught about magnet strength. I knew big one’s had more but I was thinking size. Have to admit my great nieces painted picture to end up on the floor lot. Have to check this out
