Honey Barbeque Tuna Sliders Recipe

March 19, 2020 by Carol

Honey Barbeque Tuna Sliders RecipeCanned tuna is a staple that many of us keep on hand in our pantry. It’s convenient and easy-to-use, versatile, shelf-stable and can be used when you need a quick meal. I’m a big fan of tuna and eat it at least once a week. I enjoy it in sandwich, as a topper with on my salads, used in a baked casserole or used as a spread on my favorite Artisan crackers or bread.

Today’s guest post recipe is courtesy of StarKist. You can check out their website for more free recipes and to learn more about their products. The recipe will yield 4 sandwiches. I personally like to “toast” my slider buns a little bit before topping them. That’s entirely up to you.

Honey Barbeque Tuna Sliders Recipe

2 pouches (2.6 oz.) StarKist Tuna Creations®, Honey Barbeque
4 slider buns
2 slices cheddar cheese

Place 2 slider buns on a plate. Top each with half of the tuna from one pouch. Top each with a half a slice of cheese. Place top of bun on the cheese. Repeat with the other sliders and tuna. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving time.

Yes, tuna is a staple in my house. I usually just buy the cans and haven’t tried the pouches.

We like tuna so this is a nice idea for a way to use it. The honey barbeque flavor sounds very tasty and perfect for a slider.

These look so good and have to admit never though about making a slidder out of them. I have bought the quick easy bags but never the BQ

I have never tried BBQ tuna. It did not sound good to me and I don’t know anyone who has. If you say it is good, I will try it. Thank you for the idea.
