I love arts and crafts. Matter of fact…I have an entire room in my home dedicated to it. You’ll often find me during my “free time” down in my craft room whipping up a new project. Many of those arts and craft projects are shared on the TwoClassyChics blog. Making new items for my home or to give as gifts is always fun! Plus, it’s stress reliever too.

One of our local craft supply stores (happened to be my favorite one) posted Going out of Business signs in January. During the past 2 months they’ve been steadily dropping their prices to clear out the merchandise. I’ve been in there several times hunting down some bargain. Yes…I hate to see another business close but I admit…I love the deals that I’ve been finding!
Here are some of the arts and crafts deals that I picked up during their big sale.
Low-Temp Mini Glue Guns 2 for $3.00
Brown Craft Gift Bags .20 cents each
Scrapbooking Paper .10 cents each
Scrapbooking Stickers .25 cents pack
Heavy-Duty Metal Hole Punch $1.50
Spools of Ribbon .20 cents to .50 cents a spool
Wood Picture Frames $2.00 to $8.00 each
Large Bags of Seashells $2.50 per Bag
Small Baskets with Seashells 1.50 per Basket
Wood Alpha Letters .10 cents each
Goldtone Metal Hinges .50 cents a pack
Metal Cup Hooks .50 cents a pack
Craft Kits for Kids .20 cents to $1.00 each
Fairy Garden Items $1.00 to $2.50 each
Star Wars Cupcake Holders & Wrappers $1.50
Salted Caramel Chocolate Pieces $1.50 bag
Salted Dark Chocolate Pieces $1.50 bag
Plus a few other things!
Everything that I listed was 30% to 80% off regular retail price with most items being 50% to 80% off. Yipppppeeeee! I love to find bargain deals like this! Everything I purchased will be used. I don’t stock up on items that I have no planned use for them. I mean really? I don’t need things sitting around the house collecting dust for years to come. That’s not a money saver at all. I’m careful to ONLY BUY THINGS I KNOW I’LL USE!!!
What kind of great deals and bargains have you snagged lately? I would love to hear about them along with your favorite places to shop when you go out bargain hunting.

I wish I was able to find such good deals. I have not been able to go to thrift shops or most bargain stores lately. I am trying to find some bargains online.
Once again, you totally scored with these deals! I’m sure you’ll miss your favorite craft store, but at least you’ve been able to support them even as they’re closing. As for me, I’m only venturing out when absolutely necessary these days, and then only to the local grocery store, so I’m not even getting my usual grocery deals, just paying whatever the price is at that one store on that one day for whatever I need. Ouch!
I am also a craft and I know what you mean when you say “stress reliever”. I found over the years that if I sat down for 30 minutes and did a craft the stress would just disappear. I hate when stores close but love getting a good deal.
You really got some good deals. I have not gotten anything at all. I have been pretty much cooped up since last fall. I have to be careful during the Winter for respiratory issues so I really don’t go out. Now with the virus… I have to stay within my yard until May when I see my doctor. but I am making my own crafts with things that I already had here.
Wow you really got some great deals. Those glue guns for only $1.50 was a major score. Sad your favorite craft store is going out of business though. I have a few places that I love to shop at for bargains; Joann fabrics and craft house, Crafters Warehouse, DollarTree, BigLots, HobbyLobby and sometimes Walmart but I try to stay out of that store as much as possible. I haven’t done any fun shopping is so long I miss it.
