• The ones that make no noise to wake you up but have other innovative and clever ways of doing so – these are the ‘quiet’ or ‘silent alarms’. Does not cause confusion or disorientation when it goes off.

    I was not aware of all these different types of alarm clocks. I think I still prefer the traditional alarm clock.

    I didn’t know there were so many types of alarm clocks! The ones that shake you awake would be helpful for me, since I sometimes sleep right through the sound of my alarm.

    It’s definitely an interesting idea. I wonder how effective some of them are, but some sound really doable.

    These are are nice for those that don’t like the jarring awake for a normal alarm. They have had all kinds of silent alarms for years for deaf people. My MIL had one that flashed a light to wake her up 50 years ago.

    It is just amazing all of the different alarms they nave come up with over the years. I hate the sound of an alarm clock beeping in the morning.

    This is really somethng! It would be great for a couple with different work/get up hours. I am retired and set my phone maybe once or twice a month.
