What to Pack in Your First Aid Kit When Traveling
The travel season is just around the corner and its time to plan ahead. We do a lot of traveling and I always put together a First Aid Kit to take along with us. You never know when you’re going to come down sick or end up with a minor cut, scrape or burn. Plus, you can never count out insect bites, splinters and sunburn too!

You should use a light-weight travel bag to store all of your supplies in. Please keep in mind…if you’re traveling by air there may be some restrictions on what you can take with you. Check the airline’s website to see what you can bring along with you. If you’re traveling with children you’ll want to keep the supplies out of their reach at all times.

We recommend traveling with a bottle of Aleve Liquid Gels, naproxen sodium capsules. It’s an all day strong pain reliever and fever reducer. Aleve is made by BAYER and can give you up to 12 hours of relief. It temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to: minor arthritis pain, backache, headache, the common cold, muscular aches, menstrual cramps and toothaches. Plus…it temporarily reduces fever.
Dosage: Adults and children 12 years and older take 1 capsule every 8 to 12 hours while symptoms last. For the first dose you may take 2 capsules within the first hour. Do not exceed 2 capsules in any 8-12 hour period.
Hubby often suffers with a backache when we travel which we contribute to him sitting in the same position while driving and he’s constantly lugging our luggage around. Trust me, I don’t know how to pack light! We are both headache sufferers and I suffer with chronic pain from a joint condition. Aleve Liquid Gels temporarily relieves all of our aches and pains. They’re easy-to-swallow and provide relief quickly. Perfect for traveling and for at-home use!
