We’ve been busy the past week helping our children prepare for their upcoming Valentine’s Day parties at school and scouts. We’ve been working on their card collection boxes, filling out their little Valentine’s Day cards, preparing candy treats, etc. This year they’re working on elaborate looking card collection boxes as they’ll be giving out prizes to some of the kids on their creativity on design when making them. A fun little contest for them to participate in.

Do you do any decorating for Valentine’s Day? We hung up a red, white & pink heart shaped wreath on our front door. The kids cut out heart shapes from red, white and pink construction paper and decorated the front window in our living room. It looks cute!

The Robert Frost quote is true. Life goes on. Even when we lose someone and it feels so wrong, it does go on. When we are gone, it will go on.

We don’t decorate the house since there is no children here. But I do miss the days when my children were excited about making Valentines and parties. Have a good weekend.

This week has gone by so quickly. My elder son’s birthday is going to be celebrated tomorrow. I still have a lot to do. I am checking to see what recipes I have missed.
