TreatSimple Health-Boosting “Functional” Dog Treats

February 21, 2020 by A Bailey

TreatSimple Health-Boosting Dog TreatsIf you’re like me, you consider your pets family members, and you want to feed them accordingly. That goes for treats as well as meals, and for top-notch treats that actually provide health benefits for my dogs, I’ve recently discovered TreatSimple.

* Complimentary product samples received for review.

In addition to an extensive line of premium dog treats, TreatSimple has a special collection of “Functional” treats, three different varieties of crunchy treats, each formulated to boost your dog’s health in a specific way.

TreatSimple Health-Boosting Dog Treats

For my review, I received a Functional Pack, one 9-ounce package of each of the three Functional Treats, which TreatSimple describes as follows:

• Power: Protein Recipe. Enhanced with chia seeds, peanut butter, and dried coconut. Dried coconut is not only yummy but loaded with protein and amino acids. Chia seeds are another great source of protein and are full of calcium and magnesium. Peanut butter is high in protein and potassium.

• Shine: Skin and Coat Recipe. Enhanced with salmon, nettles, flaxseed, and organic extra virgin coconut oil. Salmon and flax seeds are a great source of omega-3s which are beneficial for a healthy coat. Coconut oil contains lauric acid which has antiviral, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties. Nettle leaves help reduce symptoms of seasonal allergies and inflammation.

• Boost: Antioxidant Recipe. Enhanced with kale, spinach, blueberries and cranberries and high in antioxidants. Kale is loaded with Iron and Vitamin K. Spinach and Blueberries are high in antioxidants and essential minerals, and cranberries and extremely high in Vitamin C.

TreatSimple Health-Boosting Dog Treats

My dogs Otis and Nick love them! They may think they’re just getting yummy treats, but I know that their TreatSimple goodies are providing extra benefits for them. TreatSimple’s website provides general guidelines for how many treats are appropriate for dogs based on their weight. My guys fall in the 25-50 pound category, so they can have up to four of these 1½-inch bones each day—and they’re not complaining! I’m not, either, since these treats are sourced and made in the USA of all-natural, human-grade ingredients. These are treats I definitely feel good about giving to my precious doggies.

Remember I mentioned that TreatSimple also makes premium treats? Well, those treat flavors sound like foods I’d buy for myself—no kidding! They come in Sweet Potato & Apple, Peanut Butter & Banana, Pumpkin & Cranberry, Blueberry & Kale, and Pomegranate & Coconut.

TreatSimple Health-Boosting Dog Treats

All of TreatSimple’s products are available for purchase directly at their website, but you can also check their store locator to see if there’s a retailer near you that carries TreatSimple products. Your dog will thank you.

While you’re browsing at the TreatSimple website, be sure to stop by their blog. There, you’ll find posts full of information, news, and fun stories of interest to dog owners. And be sure to visit TreatSimple on Facebook, too.

Giveaway: One lucky winner is going to win a package of treats for their dog (random flavor).
