I spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing meals for the family. I’m one of those people who enjoys making the majority of our food from scratch. A lot of preparation goes into every meal that I make, so its important to have the right kitchen tools and products on hand.

Recently I was introduced to the Tsunami Cutting Board and I’ve been using it ever since! It’s uniquely shaped, easy-to-use and available in several different colors: white, blue, orange and green. You can use it as a cutting board and/or as a modern serving tray for finger foods.
The first thing that you’ll notice about this cutting board is it’s shape…like a wave! Instead of having the food sit in the middle of the cutting surface, simply slide your cut food over by the wave. It will act as a storage nook until you’re done cutting the rest of your ingredients. After your done just tilt the board up and your food will slide right into your bowl or pan.
If you find food sticking to your knife you simply slide the edge of your knife over the wave’s edge to dislodge it and quickly get back to cutting. Underneath you’ll find non-slip rubber feet to keep it in place while you’re working. No slip-sliding around.
What’s it made out of? It’s made out of polypropylene plastic, the safest of all plastics and most commonly used for baby products. It is designed to fit in the dishwasher and durable enough to be used every day, multiple times a day if needed.
Last weekend I had a few guests over to our home for appetizers and dinner. I got our my new Tsunami Cutting Board and got to work. I used it to slice down a roll of summer sausage, a block of cheese and a baguette. I then used it to chop up some vegetables for a veggie salad. I used a variety of different knives during the preparation process and had no issues at all. I used the cutting board on my counter-top and then moved it onto the kitchen table when I needed some additional space. It didn’t slide around at all and stayed firmly in place.
Clean up is a snap! I rinsed it off with tap water and then placed it onto the bottom rack of my dishwasher. Ran my wash cycle as I normally do. It came out looking brand new and was perfectly clean. When I’m not using it I store it in my bottom kitchen cabinet on it’s side. It takes up very little space. Of course…it’s pretty enough to keep out on your kitchen counter too.

This Tsunami cutting board looks very convenient to use. However, I already have so many boards I don’t think I need another one.
I use a cutting board daily and I am always looking for a better one. I would love to try this one out I really like the non-slip rubber feet and like that you can also use it as a serving tray.
I also enjoy cooking and perfect to cook verses ordering delivery. This looks like a quality cutting board. Also, I like that the board was easy to clean.
