Good-bye January and hello to February! We’re now a month closer to the start of spring! January was a terrible one in the northeast with a lot of cold, wet and rainy days. It gets depressing going outside in that nasty weather every day. We will go 3-5 days with wall to wall clouds and no sunshine. Bleck. I’m tired of it.

I liked hearing about that T-fal pressure cooker. I need one of those. And, of course, I always like your recipe posts. The popcorn in the cookies and fudge is a neat idea.

You should come visit us this week. We will be in the 70’s. We still have what we call cold days.. but they are your mild days. I can’t believe it is February all ready.

I too agree with this week’s quote. As usual I use this post to make sure I have not missed anything. This past week and next weeks are full of both death anniversaries and birthdays for my family -bittersweet indeed.

  4. I really like the quote of the week this week and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you for another fun week on the blog. I enjoyed reading all the posts especially love reading the vent. I also loved the new fudge recipe. I hope you all have a nice weekend. The sun is finally out here and it is staying light later and later I can almost smell spring in the air woohoo.
