As the mother to two children I feel its our responsibility to teach our children to love reading. I started reading to my children shortly after they were born and now that they’re older we still hold family reading time. Over the years they’ve amassed a beautiful collection of children’s books and today I get to introduce you to one of their newest additions.

Abella is a little fairy that lives in a secret world called Tulip Hollow with her Mom, Dad and little brother, Gage. The adventure follows Abella and her best friend Darcie who both receive their magic wands and are anxious to try them out. The two girls head off into the forest where they come across a baby frog who’s in danger. She uses her wand to try to save him. Does she? Does she fail? Well, I’m not going to tell you! You’ll have to read the book! That’s just one of the things that Abella and Darcie come across as they set out to practice with their magic wands.

The book is engaging, entertaining and beautifully written. All of the illustrations are adorable and eye-catching. I’ve been reading this book with my son and daughter during our family reading time and both of them love it. It’s an easy read for my daughter and a great beginner reader book for my son. Every time you read the book you see something new on the page!  A great addition to any child’s reading library.
