Pictsweet Farms Vegetables for Roasting – A Delicious Addition to Your Meal

January 9, 2020 by Shelly

My family loves vegetables and I serve them at every meal. We enjoy them baked, fried, mashed and/or roasted. During the summertime we will enjoy fresh vegetables from our backyard garden and at other times of the year we enjoy frozen. Rarely does my family use canned veggies.

Pictsweet Farms Vegetables for Roasting in the Halved Brussels Sprouts, Butternut Squash & Onions

Recently we had the opportunity to try out the Pictsweet Farms Vegetables for Roasting in the Halved Brussels Sprouts, Butternut Squash & Onions variety. These veggies are found at your local grocery store in the frozen foods section.

I would of never thought of combining Brussels Sprouts with Butternut Squash, but let me tell you…this flavor variety is delicious! The instructions for preparation are printed on the back of the package and I followed them when preparing them. They were done in less than 20 minutes and onto our table.

For this particular meal I opted to serve the roasted vegetables with barbecue chicken breasts and stuffing. You didn’t need to prepare any other veggies. I think they would be equally as good served alongside pork, turkey, beef or fish. Okay, I guess that means they’re perfect to serve with anything!

At our dinner we had 3 adults and 1 older child (9 1/2 year old), and everyone loved the new veggies! They’re flavorful, moist and were really easy to prepare. All of the adults had seconds and rarely do they all go for seconds when it comes to vegetables! Would I buy them? You bet I would and I already have them listed on my shopping list for next week. If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend them!

Although I use Pictsweet vegetables they are the ones you steam. I want to try these roasting vegetables too.

This looks like a delicious mix of veggies. We try to have vegetables with dinner every night and having easy and tasty choices like this is very helpful.

They look delicious! I’ll be looking for them the next time I shop. I always have frozen veggies in the freezer, usually steamables. I like the idea of roasting them.

These are something I would like to try. I do prefer frozen veggies in the winter and I like baked ones.

I would like to try these. It is an interesting combo. Normally frozen veggies are too small to roast.

I have saw those veggies in the freezer case but have not bought because didn’t know if they would be good. I don’t eat can veggies either I like frozen. As a senior I don’t want a full can or a bag of frozen. But I can take what I want from freezer bag and put the balance back in the freezer They look and sound good. I like roasted veggies and these have what I like

We use Pictasweet veggies a lot. But, I hadn’t seen the roasting type until now. I’ll be looking for them.

I have purchased Pictsweet vegetables previously. They are affordable and the taste never disappoints.
