For those of you who love chocolate fudge I’ve got a recipe for you! Today’s guest post recipe is courtesy of Popcorn.org and its a unique twist on the traditional homemade chocolate fudge recipe. It will make approximately 32 squares and you’ll only need a handful of ingredients to make it. YUM!
Almond Popcorn Chocolate Fudge Recipe
4 cups popped popcorn
1 (18 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 cup toasted slivered almonds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Line 9″ x 13” pan with foil; set aside.
Melt chips, condensed milk and butter in large saucepan, stirring until smooth; remove from heat. Stir in popcorn, nuts and vanilla extract. Spread mixture evenly in prepared pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Remove from pan and cut into squares. Store squares in an airtight container.

I do like fudge and I have never tried adding popcorn to it. This would be a unique twist and I think my family would enjoy it.

I didn’t make any fudge over the holidays guess I got too busy. After seeing this recipe now I am craving it. I have never had fudge with popcorn in it that sounds really good and so do almonds thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. Maybe I will make some fudge for Valentine’s Day.
