Founded in 753 B.C.E., Rome is one of the oldest cities still alive. It has a rich hub that has always been at the heart of power, culture, and religion.

Roam boasts amazing ancient ruins and a rich history that blurs with legends. It’s a must-see stop for anyone looking to travel to Europe.
While you’re there, stop and see the colosseum, and swing by the Vatican. The Vatican has several museums that attract millions of visitors every year.

London is the largest city in the European Union, and there’s no shortage of things to do. Visit Big Ben or any of the many castles in and around the bustling city.

In World War II, many of Europe’s capitals suffered extreme devastation, destroying history. Prague managed to survive the blasts. Much of its ancient architecture remains intact.

It’s a city for artists, architects, and history buffs. There are enough museums, theaters, and historical exhibits to keep you busy for days! Prague’s city center has even been listed as one of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites.

Amsterdam is full of cafes, music, and parks. Stroll or bike through the city, and explore the local boutiques.

You can even visit the home Anne Frank stayed in before she and her family were captured by the Nazis.

10. Madrid, Spain

Madrid is the second city in Spain on our list, but for good reason! It’s a city of arts and culture that lasts for centuries. See any of the several amazing museums, and stroll through the parks.
