I our area of the country unfortunately carpeting is almost an essential especially during cold months (sigh) We will be moving come spring – we have already bought the home- and it was bank owned. They had carpet where I find it disgusting -in the kitchen YUCK!

yes! Nasty and gross! We only have carpeting in 3 rooms in our home…tile, stone & hardwoods in the rest with some having area rugs that I clean several times a year.
