The Sunny Bay Microwavable Lower Back & Shoulder Joint Heat Wrap features the best ergonomic design. It’s ideal for lower back pain therapy and can be used to provide hot or cold therapy. It’s portable and the fleece cover helps to retain heat and is super-soft.

Directions: Microwave for 1 minute, flip the wrap, then microwave for 30 more seconds. Use 10 second increments until at desired temperature. For cold therapy place in a plastic bag in the freezer for 60 minutes.

My husband suffers with chronic shoulder, lower back and knee pain from a work related injury 25 years ago. Some days its a real struggle for him to get through his work day. He does a lot of kneeling, lifting, bending, twisting, etc., all of which aggravate his past injuries. Like most people who suffer with chronic pain…some days can be worse than others.

Two weeks ago he received the Sunny Bay Microwavable Lower Back & Shoulder Heat Wrap to try out for all of you. What’s really nice about this product is that its portable! He can use it at work, while traveling or at home. He can switch back and forth from heat to cold therapy as needed.

Hubby is a big guy so he needs a big heating wrap. This one measures 10″ by 18″ not including the straps. Even though its on the larger size…I’m still able to use it on my own back and/or shoulders. It’s filled with eco-friendly flax seeds that are contained within chambers to keep them from bunching up or shifting around. According to their website “heat can last for up to 30 minutes” but I can personally tell you its more like 45 minutes for me.

It comes with straps which allow you to use it while sitting or laying down. Hubby will often heat it up before leaving the house and use it while he’s running errands in the car. If you enjoy traveling, you can easily pack it in your luggage or carry-on bag. It’s light-weight and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Heat therapy is great for relieving joint pain, bone pain, muscle cramps, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve pain, etc. I suffer with chronic nerve pain in both of my feet. I like to heat it, roll it up and place my feet on top of it while sitting in a chair. That heat really soothes the pain.
