Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup caramel bits, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
nonstick baking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray baking sheets with nonstick baking spray.
In a large mixing bowl whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and table salt.
In a large mixing bowl beat together the brown sugar, granulated sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time until everything is blended together. Use a spoon to lightly stir in the chocolate chips and caramel bits.
Use a tablespoon to drop dough onto a prepared baking sheet, 2″ a part. Sprinkle the top of each cookie with a tad of sea salt.
Place baking sheet into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 10-13 minutes or until they’re lightly golden brown around the edges and top. Don’t over bake them! Remove from oven and place cookies onto a wire rack to cool. Don’t let them cool on the baking sheet! Once cool, store them in an airtight container.
