In 1985 I received my very first Precious Moments figurine as a gift from my husband. He gave me this special figurine in honor of our daughter’s birth. Over the years it has become a tradition for my husband and now adult daughter to present me with Precious Moments figurines as gifts to mark special occasions. I look forward to getting new figurines and other Precious Moments collectibles to mark my birthdays, anniversaries, births of my grandchildren, Easter and Christmas gifts. They’re special and always bring a smile to my face.

I love decorating for the Christmas holiday so I was really excited to receive the Oh So Merry Ceramic Santa Platter from Precious Moments to review for all of you. This platter measures 12″ in diameter and is microwave & dishwasher safe. It’s made out of glazed ceramic and the design has been hand-painted.
One of the things I love about this platter is its size. It’s not too small nor too big. It’s the perfect platter to serve your holiday appetizers, desserts, cheese & cracker tray, veggies and dip, baked goods, your holiday ham or turkey, etc. In my honest opinion, its the perfect platter for all of Santa’s cookies too!
When its not in-use it can be used as a table centerpiece by placing a group of flameless candles onto the platter, potted poinsettias, toss a few of your favorite Christmas tree balls & ornaments on it with a few sprigs of pine, etc. There’s a lot you can do with it. For those of you who display your collectibles…it looks adorable sitting on a shelf in your hutch or curio cabinet during the holidays too.
The ceramic platter is hand-painted in all of your classic & traditional Christmas colors of red, white and green. The sentiment ” oh so Merry” adds a nice touch and every time I look at Santa’s face I smile. He’s adorable! Plus, they offer a coordinating mug to go along with the platter too!

Precious Moments do make beautiful gits. This platter looks ideal for yummy appetizers and desserts. I like decorating for the Holidays too and it is nice to have these special collectibles to get in the spirit.
