In 1985 I received my very first Precious Moments figurine as a gift from my husband. He gave me this special figurine in honor of our daughter’s birth. Over the years it has become a tradition for my husband and now adult daughter to present me with Precious Moments figurines as gifts to mark special occasions. I look forward to getting new figurines to mark my birthdays, anniversaries, births of my grandchildren, Easter and Christmas gifts. They’re special and always bring a smile to my face.

Every year Precious Moments releases a brand new ornament in their Santa Series and this year I had the pleasure of receiving one. The Merry Christmas To All, 11th Annual Santa Series Ornament is brand new for 2019 and measures 3 3/4″ tall. This ornament has been lovingly hand-sculpted of fine bisque porcelain and expertly hand-painted. I love the unique color combinations.
Like all of their ornaments its beautifully finished all of the way around. The back looks just as beautiful as the front. What really makes it stand out is all of the textured work to Santa’s outfit and beard…it really helps this piece to come alive.
At the top of the ornament you’ll find the hanging loop but if you don’t want to hang it that’s okay. Santa has flat-bottomed feet, so he’ll stand up nicely all on his own too. Another thing I like about it is that its NOT overly-heavy, so you’ll have no problem hanging him on your Christmas tree. I really dislike heavy ornaments that make my tree branches sag…this ornament is the perfect weight!
We haven’t put our Christmas tree up yet (got another 10-12 days before we do that) but as you can see from my photos…he’s adorable! Once we put up our Christmas tree I’ll come back and update this post with a beautiful photograph of Santa hanging on our tree.

I have never had a Precious Moments ornament and this one is adorable.
I like to get a new ornament each year. I still have ornaments that were passed down from my parents and they give me so many fond memories as I hang them on the tree.
Precious Moments have been around a long time. (OK, so I looked it up, 1978). I’ve never had one.
