My husband and I started dating back in the mid 1980’s and have been together ever since. Shortly after we started dating he gave me my first Precious Moments figurine to honor our 6 months dating anniversary. From that time forward he’s presented Precious Moments items to me as gifts for my birthday, our wedding anniversary, Christmas gifts, Valentine’s Day and Easter gifts, and so forth. When our daughter was born…he gave me a figurine. When our grandchildren were born, he gave me figurines. It has become a tradition that still continues today.

For this feature I received the Make Someone Happy, Bisque Porcelain Figurine, which I absolutely LOVE! I decorate for Fall and Halloween but I do so in a pretty, not scary way. I love using pastel colors for fall since I decorate my home in a coastal & beach style. This is a large figurine measuring 8 1/2″. It can stand alone or be grouped with other items.
Each figurine in the Precious Moments collection has been lovingly hand-painted and the details are amazing! The scarecrow has 2 cute crows perched on his arm while the little girl is reaching up to draw a smile on his face. I love that she’s standing on a pumpkin and the 2 sunflowers complete the Autumn scene.
One thing you’ll notice with every Precious Moments figurine is that they’re perfectly completed the entire way around. They’re just as beautiful when you’re viewing them from behind. Each one is hallmarked on the bottom (important to collectors) and each one comes beautifully boxed for storage and/or gift-giving.

this made me smile – when my sister first got married, she collected Precious Moment Country Bumpkins – it became an adventure for all of us to help her collect the whole set… now, that was over 30 years ago, but still brings a smile to my face!
My best friend loves these and we buy them for each other every so often, I love decorating the house this time of year it is fun and makes the house feel festive and also more cozy.
