The Mailbox Monday Meme is about celebrating all of those fun things we get in our mailbox every month! These items can be giveaways/contest prizes that you won, freebie samples you snagged from the internet, gifts you received from loved ones, etc. What doesn’t it include? Yucky bills.
Last month I won a charcoal skincare system from a beauty blog. I have been hearing great things about skincare products containing charcoal in them, so I was excited to win and give it a try. I received the cleanser, toning mist, facial masque and day cream & moisturizer. At first I was “scared” to slather black stuff all over my face but after getting through it…I was impressed. Don’t worry, it doesn’t stain your skin! The line is all-natural and organic and is supposed to help with fine lines & wrinkles, age spots, dry patches, uneven skintone, etc. I’ve only been using the system for a week so we’ll see how it goes.
We recently lost 2 beloved family members, so we did receive sympathy cards, flowers and a fruit basket last month in our mailbox too. Grieving is such a hard thing to do, especially when you have to do it 4 weeks a part. Ugh. I sure hope we don’t have to go through this again for awhile.

Slow month mostly. Got a beaded lion key chain all the way from Kenya, Africa. The stamps on the letter were neat. In my email box I got a $25 Amazon GC (does that count?)
I received Heinz samples and coupons., yeast samples, Lancome samples, The Indoor Grill recipes cookbook, and more coupons for free stuff.
