September 11th was two days ago. We all know about the tragedy that occurred when our country was attacked on that day by terrorists. I think that its important that we never forget 9-11 and every year I like to reflect on that day. As a parent I feel its important that I teach my kids about it so that they grow up knowing the TRUTH of what occurred that day. We recognize all of the innocent lives lost and we recognize all of the heroes that fight to protect us every day. The cost of freedom is never free.
Do you do anything special to memorialize that day? Do you remember where you were when you first heard the news?
I watch and remember on September 11th. I actually forgot that Friday was the 13th. I agree only with the first part of this week’s quote.
I always watch the replays on TV. I never want to forget either.
Grandma’s apple crisp sounds so good! I love fall recipes!! 🙂
