Moso Bags for Natural, Long-Lasting Odor and Moisture Absorption

MOSO Natural Air Purifying BagEven the cleanest home can harbor unpleasant odors or excess moisture, and I’ve just learned of an easy, natural way to take care of both: Moso Bags from Moso Natural! These attractive linen bags are filled with bamboo charcoal, which absorbs odors and moisture and lasts for up to two years.

MOSO Natural Air Purifying Bag

For my review, I received a 500g Moso Natural Air Purifying Bag in the pretty Charcoal color (it’s also available in Natural, a neutral beige). This size Moso Bag covers a 250-foot space, recommended for bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens. We have two dog beds in our bedroom, as well as a closet with admittedly too many shoes. Lately I’ve been noticing an unpleasant smell when I walk into the bedroom, so I was pretty excited to see if the Moso Bag would help. And it did! I simply set the bag on a dresser, and after only a day or so, the bedroom was free of nasty odors. A few days later, I threaded a string of beads that complemented the color of the Moso Bag through the bag’s sturdy, grommet-reinforced hole and hung it from the closet doorknob, right over the most-used dog bed. Now my Moso Bag is doing its job while taking up no space at all, and it looks nice, too.

As an asthma sufferer, I avoid scented products, so I love the fact that Moso Bags are completely fragrance-free. I also love that they’re long-lasting; all that’s required is to put the bag out in the sun for a few hours once a month to allow the sunlight to rejuvenate it. It seems like magic, but Moso Natural explains that “the UV rays from the sun will clear the pores of the bamboo charcoal, making it ready to absorb again.” There’s even a space on the bag to record the date so you’ll know when it’s time to replace it. But if you don’t want to display the label, you can simply turn the bag around to the plain side.

Here’s how Moso Natural describes how their bags work: “The bag contains only one ingredient: pure Moso bamboo charcoal. Bamboo charcoal contains millions of tiny pores that can attract and absorb odors, bacteria, chemicals and moisture from the air like a magnetic sponge.” To me, it’s important that the Moso Bag actually removes odors rather than just covering them up, without using any dangerous chemicals.

Moso Bags are available in a range of sizes, from the largest that covers a large room to the smallest that fits inside a shoe. There’s even a Moso Bag designed to be used in refrigerators, with a suction cup to hang it from. Read all the details and go shopping at Moso Natural’s website, or use their store finder to find a local a retailer. Visit them on Facebook, too.
