Mailbox Monday for the Month of September

Time for our monthly MAILBOX MONDAY for September! The first Monday of every month you’ll see our Mailbox Monday Meme. It will cover the previous month and we invite all of our readers to participate. If you’re a blogger, you can participate too by sharing our MEME on your blog.

The Mailbox Monday Meme is about celebrating all of those fun things we get in our mailbox every month! These items can be giveaways/contest prizes that you won, freebie samples you snagged from the internet, gifts you received from loved ones, etc. What doesn’t it include? Yucky bills.

A few things showed up in my mailbox last month. A friend of mine knows I decorate my home in a coastal & beach style and sent me a friendship card along with 2 sets of coastal themed salt & pepper shakers. One set is in a lighthouse theme and one set is in a seahorse theme. In my kitchen I have a large shabby wooden shadow box on the wall, so I tucked each set into a cubby inside the box. Adore them!

From IG I was lucky enough to win a new Conair Hair Dryer which is a travel-sized one. I was going to keep it and use it when we travel but opted to give it to my granddaughter who’s been getting into blow drying her hair. I thought it would be perfect for her (the smaller size) since she’s only 10 1/2 years old. Nice win for sure!!!

To finish things up…the old man won a $15.00 Subway gift card from Facebook (I think) or maybe it was IG. Heck, I can’t remember what he told me. Sigh, old age!!!
