These days most of us lead very busy lives. Our schedules are jam-packed with work and activities from the time we wake-up until the time we fall into bed. It seems like there is never enough time in our day to complete everything that we want to get done. All of that hustle and bustle in our daily lives can lead to stress, depression and medical problems.

A few years ago I jumped onto the adult coloring bandwagon after having surgery and a long recovery period. I was getting depressed and needed a creative outlet. Once I jumped into the adult coloring world I felt my spirits lift and my creativity re-emerge. It’s now a hobby that I enjoy on a regular basis to help me relax and to de-stress after a busy day.
Let me introduce you to a brand new adult coloring book titled Creative Haven Christmas Inspirations by Jessica Mazurkiewicz and published by Dover Publications.
Synopsis: ‘Tis definitely the season to be jolly with this delightful book of 31 heartwarming Christmas sayings, each surrounded by festive designs to color. You can take a break from the holiday bustle as you color fun phrases like “It’s not Christmas without cookies,” “Keep Calm and Jingle On,” and many more. Pages are perforated and printed on one side only for easy removal and display and are specially designed for experienced colorists.
I have at least 25 coloring books in my collection and the majority of them are Creative Haven adult coloring books. I really like the Creative Haven line of books because the images are printed on high-quality paper. This means that I can use markers, gel ink pens, colored pencils, chalks, crayons, or whatever my preferred coloring instrument is for that particular day.
For the most part I enjoy using glitter gel ink pens when I’m coloring and I appreciate that the colors don’t bleed-thru the paper. In addition, each image is ONLY printed on one side of the paper and the edges are perforated so that you can easily remove it from the book. Not all adult coloring books are created equally and the Creative Haven books are some of the best that you’ll find out in the retail marketplace.
Finally, I really like the wide variety of images and designs you get inside each book. Some of them are quick & easy to complete, while others are very detailed and will take a few days to finish up. Once completed you can frame them, laminate them & turn into placemats, cut out strips to be laminated into bookmarks, use as embellishments on your scrapbooking pages, folded-up to make unique envelopes for your greeting cards & letters, etc. There is a lot that you can do with your completed pages.
