Mailbox Monday for August 2019

Time for our monthly MAILBOX MONDAY for August! The first Monday of every month you’ll see our Mailbox Monday Meme. It will cover the previous month and we invite all of our readers to participate. If you’re a blogger, you can participate too by sharing our MEME on your blog.

The Mailbox Monday Meme is about celebrating all of those fun things we get in our mailbox every month! These items can be giveaways/contest prizes that you won, freebie samples you snagged from the internet, gifts you received from loved ones, etc. What doesn’t it include? Yucky bills.

Well, July was a slow month for me. We’ve been doing a lot of traveling this summer, so we haven’t had a lot of spare time on our hands to enter giveaways, sweeps, contests, and freebies. During the summertime I would rather being doing other things than sitting online.

Anyway, I did enter a giveaway that was held over on IG by a beauty blogger and I won a box full of beauty, hair, and skincare products. I think there were almost 20 items in the box, with about 1/2 of them shown in my photo. One product was this incredible tub of body butter which I’ve been using every day after my shower and love it. It rocks!!! I grew my hair out last year and its now almost down to my mid-back, so I can always use hair care products and things to clip my hair up. I think I received 6 hair clips in total and I’ve been using those too! The only other thing I got in my mailbox was a promo marketing package from a car dealership containing a bottle opener, a key chain, and this cardboard looking thing that goes across the dashboard to prevent sun damage. Hubby has been using it in his truck.
