Well, half of the month of July is over. For many of us we’re already starting our back-to-school shopping and preparing for the start of a new school year. Summer seems to fly by quicker and quicker every year. When I was in school we concluded our school year around Memorial Day and didn’t go back until after Labor Day. Kids these days go to school to the second week in June and start back in late August. The school year gets extended longer and longer every year. At least around here. They hardly get a summer anymore to enjoy.

  1. Peggy Nunn says

I went to school like you did. We always had 3 full months of Summer. But then we only had 3 days off for Spring, 2 weeks for Christmas, and hardly any other days off. Absolutely no teacher work days. I like it more like that. Let the kids have some time off.

I love this quote and agree with it too. As always I use the week in review to make sure that have not missed any post.

  3. Beautiful quote that I so agree with. I love my pets dearly and couldn’t imagine not having a pet in my life.

  4. Great quote, and so true. When we lose a pet, the ache is like no other, but it’s worth enduring, for all the love and joy we share with them while they’re with us.
