Sea salt and pecans just make everything taste better. At least in my humble opinion. Then toss in some freshly popped popcorn and you have the perfect family-style snack. Sweet, Salty and Crunchy. What’s not to love?

Sea Salt Caramel Popcorn Recipe
2 quarts popped popcorn
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1/2 cup almonds
1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Line a large, rimmed baking pan (17×12-inch) with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray; set aside. Spray a large bowl (not plastic) with cooking spray and place popcorn and nuts inside.
In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, butter and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Clip on a candy thermometer and boil, stirring occasionally, until temperature reaches 290 degrees F. (about 15 minutes). Remove candy thermometer and stir in vanilla.
Pour mixture over popcorn and stir to coat well. Spread popcorn mixture in an even layer into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with sea salt and allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces to serve. Store in an airtight container.

I love the combination of sweet and salty for popcorn, This is a recipe I shall try soon.
Love these different varieties and flavors of popcorn. Caramel with almonds and pecans though might be my personal favorite.
I love salted caramel, so I know this would be great. And the pecans would add a great crunch.
This sounds so good I like that it does not have to go in the oven, rather the have the syrup fixed on the stove. I can do this on a hot day. Thank you.
Oh goodness! What is it about sea salt and caramel that makes it so awfully good? I would be afraid to make this, I would eat the whole batch or want to!
I love popcorn. Sea Salt Caramel Popcorn sounds delicious. This would be great to have for movie night with girlfriends.
