My Little Farm Activity Set from Award-Winning SmartFelt Toys

My Little Farm Activity Set from Award-Winning SmartFelt ToysMy son is 3 1/2 years old and I’m always looking for educational toys and games for him to play. These days the marketplace is swamped with toys & games that require batteries, make too much noise, cost too much money, and offer no educational value at all. As a parent, its really sad to see how much the toy & game industry has changed over the past decade.

Assembled My Little Farm measures: 13″ by 13″ by 15″
Flat measures: 52″ by 15″
Comes in a cardboard carrying case/storage box.

We received the activity set about 10 days ago and my son loves it. He’s a big fan of farms, animals, and toys that are different. By that I mean this…every time he gets out his farm activity set he can set it up a different way, put the animals in different places, etc. It’s not the same exact thing over and over. He can be creative when he’s playing.

As a parent I love that it doesn’t use batteries, doesn’t have flashing lights, doesn’t make annoying noise, etc. There are times where I want my son to sit down and play quietly and this activity set is exactly for those times. In addition, I like that its totally portable and he can take it to preschool, to grandma’s house, take it with us while traveling, etc. The entire activity set takes up very little room and is easy to store when not in use.

The farm barn is easy for him to put together thanks to the hook & loop closure. He can play with it assembled or flatten it down and play with it that way. I’ve been watching him and I think he prefers it flattened as I often see him laying or sitting on the floor playing with it in that way. All of the felt pieces stick nicely and are easy to remove when he wants to change them around. Everything is brightly colored too!
