Happy Birthday America!!! I know I’m biased…but…I live in the best country on planet earth! As an American we get to enjoy freedoms that other people don’t enjoy. We have one of the best healthcare systems, a strong economy and we are free to practice our religion of choice, or no religion at all. We value family and try to be kind to those around us. I’m proud to be an American!
I wanted to take a few minutes today to wish you a Happy 4th of July. We will be enjoying a family barbecue and pool party together…then later tonight we’ll head out to see some fireworks. On the way home we always stop for ice cream which the kids always look forward to.
How do you like to celebrate the holiday? Are you heading out or staying home? Do you enjoy going out to see fireworks or do you prefer watching them on TV? If you’re an American citizen…what do you love most about living in America? Tell us about it!

We had a wonderful 4th. Started with watching both our grandkids ride their bikes in the community parade, pancake breakfast and then free concert in the park. Good to be reminded of how fortunate and blessed we are.
Our fireworks are scheduled for the 6th, no clue why. Plenty of them going off last nigh though! We stayed home and grilled out. I do not feel comfortable leaving our dog alone even in the house on the 4th since he became blind, the noise scares him so much and he is confused :/
We watched the fireworks on TV. We live out in the country and is too far to go into town for that. Our neighbor down the street provided us with enough noise from their firecrackers. I know they had fun.
We shall watch fireworks tonight. We had food trucks and a parade earlier. I hope everyone is enjoying the day.
I am a very proud American and I am so thankful every single day that I was born in this amazing country. We will be just staying home this year and having a BBQ. Hope you have a great day. God Bless our country and God Bless our troops.
We went to watch the fireworks last night. Today a BBQ. Happy 4th of July!
