Fun Frugal Finds – Bargains on Snacks and K-Cup Coffee
Its been awhile since I’ve done a Fun Frugal Finds post as I’ve been super busy this summer. With that said, I did go out to the grocery outlet a few days ago and I scored some big time bargains!
We have a grocery outlet about 5 miles from our home called Tuckey’s. I try to get out there once every 8-10 weeks to stock up on bread, cereal, snacks, milk, eggs, lunch meat, dry goods, and k-cup coffee.
Everything you see in the photograph is what I purchased on my latest run. If I had purchased those same exact items at one of our regular grocery stores I would of paid $65.00 to $70.00, depending if I had any coupons to use or not.
One of the best bargains that I found this time around was the case of McCafe Coffee which has 100 K-Cups inside the box. That size case can cost over $30 or more. Well, I snagged it for $20.00 at our grocery outlet.
The large family-size bags of Popcorn Indian Original Popcorn were on sale 2 bags for $3.00. Each bag is pre-stamped at $4.89 per bag. The Thomas English Muffins were $1.00 per pack, the Fiber One Bars were $1.00 per box (got 2 boxes), Hunt’s Snack Pack Pudding were 2 for $1.00 when at our reg. grocery store they’re often on sale for $1.00 per pack, the Little Debbie Brownies for my grandchildren were $1.00 per box, Entennman’s Coffee Cakes were $1.00 per box, Snyders Honey Mustard Pretzels were $1.00 per bag, etc.
As you can see…I got some great deals and I won’t need to buy any snack food for probably 6 weeks or so and I got all of our snack stuff for at least 50% off retail price. Of course the best deal was the case of coffee which will last us for about a month.
Do you have any grocery outlets near you that you like to shop at? Bakery outlets? Surplus food outlets? Have you snagged any bargains lately?
