Spill-Proof Beverages to Go with FroZip Disposable Drink Pouches

If you’re like me, you’re always looking for a better way to take drinks on the go, and to make easy frozen summer snacks. Basically, FroZip Drink Pouches are heavy-duty zip-top plastic bags specifically designed for liquids. Their gusseted bottoms allow them to stand up, making them easy to fill and to be stable on any flat surface. The zip seal is leak-proof, so you can take your drink with you; they work with both hot and cold liquids, and they’re even freezer-safe. The material they’re made from is non-toxic and BPA and Phthalate free, so they’re perfectly safe.

Although these Drink Pouches are disposable, I’ve found that they’re sturdy enough to wash out and reuse. But since they are ultimately disposable, I won’t feel bad if I take one somewhere I can’t wash it, or if I tear or puncture one.

I particularly like using my FroZip Drink Pouches for smoothies. I can make a big batch of smoothies, use the included funnel to fill my Drink Pouches, then just zip them closed and pop them in the refrigerator or freezer, where they stay sealed and ready to go. I learned the hard way not to overfill the Pouches, though; there’s no fill line, so you have to be careful to leave plenty of head space in the Pouch. You should also be aware that once you open the seal and insert your straw, the Pouch won’t be completely leak-proof; if it’s knocked over, some liquid may escape around the straw. To me, though, that’s not an issue, especially considering that I can grab my sealed Drink Pouch and take it with me anywhere without worrying about leaks until I intentionally open the seal (and the carrying holes in the top are handy, too).

Because the material is see-through and can be written on with a marker, these Drink Pouches would be great at a party or barbecue. Guests could easily identify their own drinks, and the host wouldn’t have to worry about breakable glasses being carried around and set down who-knows-where.
