Creative Haven: Tranquility Coloring Book

Creative Haven: Tranquility Coloring BookFive years ago I was introduced to adult coloring as a way to pass the time while recovering from 3 major surgeries. When it was first introduced to me I thought it was silly to be sitting around coloring, but after a few days I realized the positive benefits to adult coloring. I found it to be a great stress reliever and a great way to express my creativity. I’ve been coloring ever since!

Title: Creative Haven Tranquility Coloring Book
By: Diane Pearl
Publisher: Dover Publications
ISBN: 9780486833910

Relax and unwind with 31 mesmerizing illustrations inspired by nature and specifically designed to promote mindfulness and inner peace. Swirling tendrils and other beguiling patterns invite color combinations of any kind — the creative possibilities are endless! Pages are perforated and printed on one side only for easy removal and display. Specially designed for experienced colorists, Tranquility and other Creative Haven® adult coloring books offer an escape to a world of inspiration and artistic fulfillment. Each title is also an effective and fun-filled way to relax and reduce stress.

Creative Haven: Tranquility Coloring Book

One of the things I love about the Creative Haven line of adult coloring books is that all of the images are printed on high-quality paper. I can use markers, glitter ink pens, gel ink pens, colored pencils, crayons, etc. and they won’t bleed through to the other side of the paper. I prefer using gel ink pens and they just glide across the page.

Creative Haven: Tranquility Coloring Book

There are 31 beautiful illustrations in this book and you’ll find one on each page, there are no double-sided pages, plus each page is perforated so that you can easily remove the page for framing and hanging. Each design will make a beautiful piece of artwork in your home…there are no “dud designs” in this book!

I would say that this book is for anyone who loves nature, zen, tranquility, peace, etc. Each illustration is intricate and I would say that the designs are for intermediate to experience colorists. You can really let your creativity flow with this one!
