Food and Crafts for 4th of July Celebrations

June has been an incredibly busy month for my family. My son graduated from his first year of preschool and my daughter finished up the 4th grade. We had school ceremonies to attend x 4. The princess finished up her 5th year in Girl Scouts, so an end of the year ceremony & party to attend. We had Father’s Day to celebrate, my birthday was a few days ago and my mom’s birthday is next week. On top of that, I attended a baby shower and bridal shower. Finally, we’ve been on vacation all week and will return tomorrow evening. All of this “activity” reminds me of the holiday season and the month of December. Hoping things slow down for the month of July. How has your month been going so far?

  1. One of the good things for me this week was that I received the Ripley’s Bions book that I won from your blog. It will be a fun read this summer with my grandkids. Thanks!

  2. Wow it sounds like you guys have been super busy. Hope you had a nice vacation. It sure was a fast week for me lots going on. I like the quote of the week too true.

I enjoyed the post about Bass Pro Shops. Those places are like amusement parks under one roof.

  4. Love the quote! Also, the pasta recipe sounds awesome! I cannot wait to make it 🙂

I am NOT as busy as you are and I like it that way. We have had friends visit and we visited others too. It is a good start to Summer.

Adlai Stevenson’s quote is so true. It is strange how opinions change from generation to generation and styles too come back.
