In five days my first born (the Princess) will be turning 10 years old. I can’t believe how quickly our children grow up. I’m already seeing her maturing and turning into a beautiful young lady right before my eyes. I think our kids are maturing much earlier these days than what I did when I was her age. Its sad because I think society has put a lot of pressure on them and it doesn’t allow them to just be kids.

The quote is a good reminder that we cant always control what happens. I can really relate to it this week with some unexpected events that we had.
