How many of you enjoy gardening? My husband enjoys vegetable gardening and I enjoy flower gardening. He dug up our garden plot over the weekend and got about 1/2 of our seedlings in. He’ll finish up this week getting everything planted. Our garden is about 1/2 the size of my parent’s.. They have a large one and I’ve always admired the type’s of things that they can grow. This year Big E is trying his hand at growing watermelon and cantaloupe, so we’ll see how that turns out.
I haven’t done much vegetable gardening lately but do have some tomato plants and peas. Looking forward to this weeks easy to make crafts projects. I need some ideas for the summer with grandkids.

I have given up on gardening. Our soil is terrible. I tried for four years to grow things… no luck. I just enjoy the farmers market now.
I do love how you manage to find so many interesting cookbooks to review. I want to start gardening, so I shall see if i can do it.
