Are you ready for Cinco de Mayo? Do you celebrate or do anything special for it? My husband and I typically will invite a few friends over for a backyard barbecue and cocktails, depending on what day of the week it falls on.

Spicy Sparkling Margarita Recipe
2 parts Blanco Tequila
1/2 part Cointreau
3 slices of Jalapeño pepper
Juice of 1/8 lime
1 1/2 parts Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime
Shake Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and peppers with ice. Pour into rocks glass with salted rim and lime wedge. Top with Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime.
Pomegranate Margarita Recipe
2 oz. tequila
2 oz. pomegranate juice
1 oz. lime juice
1 oz. simple syrup
Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade
Vanilla flake salt rim, for garnish
Lime wedge, for garnish
Rim glass with a lime and dip into salt, fill glass with ice and set to the side. In an ice filled cocktail shaker, combine tequila, pomegranate juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and shake. Strain into glasses and top with Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade, stir lightly to combine. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Both my daughters would enjoy this recipe. I always enjoy using Sparkling Ice in different drinks.
I think the pomegranate looks interesting. This is one you could easily make sans alcohol for those who don’t indulge and it would still be tasty. I know a few who would enjoy your spicy version.
I like the pomegranate recipe. No hot cold drinks for me but it would go well with Mexican food.
